Pim delivers pragmatic and solution-oriented corporate tax advice to asset managers, investment funds, and corporates. His expertise lies in fund structuring, investment transactions (acquisitions and disposals), and related corporate matters such as management participations and restructurings.
With more than 12 years of experience at the international tax practice of Simmons & Simmons LLP, Pim has a strong foundation in advising on complex cross-border matters. In 2022, he broadened his perspective through a secondment with a large Dutch private market fund manager, where he was involved in a wide range of projects, including fundraising, acquisitions and disposals, asset management, and co-investment structures.
Pim holds dual LL.M. degrees in Notarial and Tax Law from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. To further specialise in cross-border taxation, he completed an Executive LL.M. in EU and International Tax Law at the International Tax Centre Leiden in 2023.
Pim is also a member of the Netherlands Association of Tax Advisors (Nederlandse Orde van Belastingadviseurs).
