The Dutch government launched a consultation bill to implement the EU Directive on cross-border conversions, mergers and divisions in Dutch law. The proposed changes mainly relate to the Dutch Civil Code and the Financial Supervision Act. No tax provisions are included yet, but public input is requested on bottlenecks. Interested parties have until 7 March 2022 to submit a reaction to the proposal.
